About us
Northern AI Labs is a development company with a team of more than 25 people. We build systems for financial businesses where the work between the programs takes time and where a mistake can cost more than money: a revoked licence or, in some cases, regulatory fines.
Why we exist
In a financial business the information is rarely in one place. It is pulled from agreements, certificates, invoices, registers and reports, moved into Excel and reconciled before anyone can make a decision.
The software is rarely the problem. The work between the systems is, and that is the work we build systems for.
A development company, not a product
We build bespoke systems for organisations where compliance and security are a priority. Each system is built around one organisation’s own documents, templates and procedures, which is why no two look the same.
We primarily work with financial businesses such as lenders, fund managers, fund administrators and advisers.
One process at a time
An engagement begins with a review and a written assessment. If there is something to build, we continue with a bounded first project on a single process. It becomes a full implementation only once that project has shown what is needed. You decide after each step.
